Yuhui C-SS8FGF-NS is a premium food grade gel-type strong acid cation (SAC) exchange resin based on sulfonated styrene-divinylbenzene (DVB) copolymers with fine mesh particle size. Due to its fine mesh particle size, C-SS8FGF-NS offers higher kinetics because of shorter diffusion path. Due to using the solvent-free sulfonation technology, C-SS8FGF-NS has no risk of ethylene dichloride (EDC) residual. Its 8% cross-linkage offers better performance on the resistance to oxidation compared to C-SS7FG. C-SS8FGF-NS is developed to be used for residential regenerable water softeners especially in the US market. It can also be used for potable water filter cartridges and other applications where non-solvent softening resin with faster kinetics is required.
